Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business Excellence Awards
Mid West Ports Authority were announced as the winner of the Community Spirit Award during the 24th annual Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business Excellence Awards.
The award recognises a business who has made a significant contribution to the local community, buts whose community involvement is not the actual focus of their operations.
MWPA was nominated for the award by a community member, and underwent an application and interview process before being announced the winner during the 22 June awards night.
MWPA were humbled to accept the award and will continue to make the creation of community partnerships a priority.
The Cruise Geraldton volunteer team were also recognised for their efforts after being named a finalist in the Tourism Excellence Awards.
