The Barkly Pearl left the Port of Geraldton on Saturday 02 January 2021 at around 0100 bound for the loading location on to the heavy lift vessel, Falcon.

Mid West Ports have been informed that due to weather parameters being exceeded, the operation was aborted.

The Falcon will remain at anchor at the loading site, while the remaining four vessels involved in the operation (3x tugs and the Barkly Pearl) will return to Geraldton.

The next window of opportunity is forecasted to open up in 4 days time on the 6th January. A determination will be made closer to the time.
