Mid West Ports Authority (MWPA) is responding to a minor oil spill inside the Geraldton Harbour this morning (11 February).
The oil has been contained and an initial assessment of the source of the spill is still underway.
The Department of Transport and other relevant authorities have been notified and are assisting in the response.
MWPA has established an Incident Management Team and is undertaking initial response operations.
Additional updates will be provided when more information is known.
