Through the program, Mid West Ports partners with not-for-profit organisations delivering positive outcomes for communities across the Mid West. Each partnership is valued at $22,400 and combines financial support with in-kind assistance over the three-year term.
Applications are open to not-for-profit organisations working in areas including:
- environmental improvement or protection;
- maritime education and activities;
- community welfare;
- youth education and leadership; and
- supporting and creating opportunities for Aboriginal people.
Mid West Ports Chief Executive Officer Damian Tully said the program was about supporting the local organisations that do important work across the region.
“Our local not-for-profits make a real difference in communities across the Mid West, and this program is one way we can get behind the work they do.
“It’s not just about financial support. We can also provide practical assistance through our people, skills and resources, which can be just as valuable.
“Over three years, we also get to build a genuine relationship with our partners and better understand how we can support the work they’re doing in our community.”
Applications close at 9:00am on Thursday 24 December 2026, with applicants to be notified of the outcome by 31 January 2027.
